Anthony Capobianco was an original Founder and Director of American Community Bank and instrumental in obtaining its Charter and required Capital to establish the Bank in 2000. He has served as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Bank since 2009. Mr. Capobianco has developed specific expertise in community banking, commercial and retail lending, strategic planning, and financial budgeting during his 20 year tenure in the industry.
Mr. Capobianco is a Certified Public Accountant who earned a B.A. from Franklin and Marshall College in Lancaster, PA, and was awarded an M.B.A. in Finance from C.W. Post at Long Island University in Brookville, NY.
Over the years Mr. Capobianco has been actively involved supporting a number of local charitable and civic organizations including the North Shore Soccer Club, Sea Cliff Junior Baseball League, St. Boniface R.C. Church and Catholic Youth Organization.
Sebastian Gallitto was named Senior Vice President Chief Lending Officer of American Community Bank in 2017. Mr. Gallitto operates out of the Bank’s Glen Cove Branch specializing in Commercial Real Estate including Multi-Family and Mixed Use, and C & I and Retail Lending.
Prior to joining American Community Bank, he served as the Vice President of Commercial Lending for Northfield Bank for the past 10 years and Real Estate Loan Supervisor for Melrose Credit Union for past 2 years.
Mr. Gallitto received a degree from Nassau Community College and also has a real-estate license issued by Long Island Board of Realtors.
He resides in Bellmore, New York with his wife and 3 kids.
Theresa DiVittorio joined American Community Bank in August 2017 and brings a depth of banking, accounting and finance experience to her position as the bank’s Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Ms. DiVittorio is a Certified Public Accountant who was previously the Senior Vice President and Controller of State Bank of Long Island for 19 years and was responsible for the finance and administrative functions of the bank, including accounting, financial reporting, tax, budgeting, and compliance and risk management until the bank merged with Valley National Bank in 2012. Ms. DiVittorio then became part of the new management team of Suffolk County National Bank, first as Controller, and then as Deputy CFO. Ms. DiVittorio is accountable for the financial, administrative and risk management operations of American Community Bank, including developing performance measures that improve the financial health of our company and support its strategic direction. She graduated magna cum laude and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from Long Island University – C.W. Post.
James Hartnett joined American Community Bank in 2006 and currently serves as the Bank’s Vice President and Compliance Officer, IT Officer, Security Officer and BSA/AML Officer. With over 15 years of banking experience Mr. Hartnett has held various positions in both retail banking as well as operational and compliance functions. Mr. Hartnett has worked tirelessly to improve the communities in which he both lives and works, either through his local church or various different community outreach programs he has severed with over the years. Mr. Hartnett is dedicated to making Long Island a better place to work and live.
Matt Nartowicz joined American Community Bank in 2009 and currently serves as the bank’s Vice President and Nassau County Regional Branch Manager. Mr. Nartowicz started with ACB as the Assistant Vice President and Branch Manager of the Commack Branch and is now responsible for the overall management of all American Community Bank’s retail branches. Mr. Nartowicz has worked his entire career in the financial industry on Long Island including Branch Manager of Citizens Bank NA and as a Mortgage Broker and Manager in the Residential and Commercial Mortgage industry. Mr. Nartowicz currently sits on the board for the East Northport Chamber of Commerce.
Darryl Payne joined American Community Bank in 2016 and currently serves as the bank's Vice President and Suffolk County Regional Branch Manager. Mr. Payne is responsible for the management, business development, sales, and operational integrity of American Community Bank's Suffolk County branches. With over 15 years in the banking industry, Mr. Payne has held various positions in retail banking. Prior to coming to ACB, he served as Vice President/Manager of the TD Bank in East Northport since 2004. Mr. Payne has been a member of the East Northport Chamber of Commerce since 2004 and also previously served on their Board of Directors. Mr. Payne actively supports local organizations such as West Islip Little League and the West Islip PAL Football League. Mr. Payne earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance from Ithaca College in Ithaca, New York.
