Anthony Capobianco

Anthony Capobianco was an original Founder and Director of American Community Bank and instrumental in obtaining its Charter and required Capital to establish the Bank in 2000. He has served as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Bank since 2009. He has developed specific expertise in community banking, commercial and retail lending, strategic planning, and financial forecasting and relationship building during his 20+ year tenure in the industry. During this time, American Community Bank has maintained one of the best in class asset quality portfolios in the industry.

Theresa DiVittorio

Theresa DiVittorio joined American Community Bank in August 2017 and brings a depth of banking, accounting and finance experience to her position as the bank’s Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Ms. DiVittorio is a Certified Public Accountant who was previously the Senior Vice President and Controller of State Bank of Long Island for 19 years and was responsible for the finance and administrative functions of the bank, including accounting, financial reporting, tax, budgeting, and compliance and risk management until the bank merged with Valley National Bank in 2012. Ms. DiVittorio then became part of the new management team of Suffolk County National Bank, first as Controller, and then as Deputy CFO. Ms. DiVittorio is accountable for the financial, administrative and risk management operations of American Community Bank, including developing performance measures that improve the financial health of our company and support its strategic direction. She graduated magna cum laude and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from Long Island University – C.W. Post.

Sebastian Gallitto

Sebastian Gallitto was named Executive Vice President Chief Lending Officer of American Community Bank in 2020. Mr. Gallitto operates out of the Bank’s Glen Cove Branch specializing in Commercial Real Estate including Multi-Family and Mixed Use, and C & I and Retail Lending since 2017. Prior to joining American Community Bank, he served as the Vice President of Commercial Lending for Northfield Bank for the past 10 years and Real Estate Loan Supervisor for Melrose Credit Union for past 2 years

James Hartnett

James Hartnett joined American Community Bank in 2006 and currently serves as the Bank’s Senior Vice President and Compliance Officer, IT Officer, Security Officer and BSA/AML Officer. With over 15 years of banking experience Mr. Hartnett has held various positions in both retail banking as well as operational and compliance functions. Mr. Hartnett has worked tirelessly to improve the communities in which he both lives and works, either through his local church or various different community outreach programs he has severed with over the years. Mr. Hartnett is dedicated to making Long Island a better place to work and live.

Matt Nartowicz

Matt Nartowicz joined American Community Bank in 2009 and currently serves as the bank’s Senior Vice President and Chief Retail Officer.  In this role Matt is responsible for the overall management of American Community Bank’s retail branches with a focus on driving business development by fostering a customer centric, selling culture throughout the branch network. 

Working in the financial services industry for nearly 20 years Matt learned through first-hand experience. Holding at one time, each of the positions that he oversees today Matts has gained valuable knowledge and insight by being on the front line of retail banking.  Prior to joining American Community Bank he served as Assistant Vice President, Branch Manager of Citizens Bank N.A. and as a Mortgage Broker and Manager in the Residential and Commercial Mortgage industry.

Matt Nartowicz has been recognized and awarded by many local organization for his success in the workplace and his philanthropic work helping Long Islanders in need. His recognition includes: Community Banking Hero by Banking NY Magazine; King of New York by Schneps Media; 40 under 40 by Long Island Business News; Community Hero by Glen Cove Herald; 2021 Honoree by The Glen Cove Downtown BID. Matt Nartowicz currently sits on the Board of Directors for the Glen Cove Chamber of Commerce and is a past President of the East Northport Chamber of Commerce.
